oug Ross, owner of RC Homes, Inc. in Lake Ozark, Missouri.

Doug Ross spent most his life in the Kansas City area and served in the Navy, where he advanced to Petty Officer, second-class. He later earned his degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Missouri in Kansas City.

Upon earning his degree, Ross accepted a position as the General Manager of Metro Renovators, Inc, a company that specialized in disaster reconstruction. Inrecon/Belfor later acquired Metro Renovators, where Doug continued in his position for five years.

After leaving Metro Renovators he started his own remodeling company and produced several substantial makeover remodels in the KC area. Eventually he and his wife Beth moved to the Lake area so that Doug could accept the position of Vice President

& General Manager of Millennium Design Build. There he directly supervised the construction of fourteen multi-million dollar homes, as well as several large commercial projects. He left Millennium after 5-1/2 years to start Ross Custom Homes, Inc.

Even with all of this activity, he still finds time to maintain an active leadership position as a leader in the Boy Scouts of America, assisting over 70 young men to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout.

Now that Ross is running his own company, he enjoys his work even more, and is very proud of the quality projects he is involved with currently. It's a great feeling, seeing these incredible projects from inception of the design phase, through construction, and handing the keys over to the new owners. Its what makes all the hard work worthwhile, concluded Ross.
